A Few Rules About The Villa

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in is at 2pm, and checkout is by 12pm. Arriving slightly earlier, or want that extra hour to sleep? Should be fine, but please check with us first.

To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests) we kindly ask that you switch off lights and the A/C or water heating when it’s not in use or leaving the house. Mother nature thanks you too!

Eating Areas

We would be most appreciative if you could do all your eating in our kitchen, dining area or patio. This is to ensure that the home remains clean for all our guests.

Home Appliances

All appliances in our home are for your convenient usage. Do handle them with care and ask us if you are unsure how to operate any equipment.

Being a family home, we also have a no smoking policy (although you are welcome to smoke either out front or back).

Pets & Animals

Do let us know in advance if you intend to bring your pets! Whilst our furry friends are more than welcome to visit our farm, for the comfort and peace of mind of our other guests, we are unable to allow pets inside of our house.

Who doesn’t enjoy a cookout in nature? Do let us know in advance if you wish to have a barbeque and we will make the necessary arrangements. Please note that there will be a chargeable fee for this.

Car park

Kindly park all vehicles at the store area. For unloading purposes, only one car is allowed to go up to the house porch area at a time.

Fishing Deck

Life is full of choices. Please remove your footwear or help us mop the floor! While on the fishing deck, if ever you feel like trying your luck to fish in our pond, please do let the caretaker know and he will arrange you with the rods.

Extra Guests

We understand that for a whole variety of reasons, you may want additional guests to stay in the place. In the event that you want additional guests to stay, please contact us to let us know, as there may be a chargeable fee. We’re reasonable folk and will accommodate wherever possible.

Parties or Gatherings

We believe the more the merrier. However, whilst our land is fairly spacious, our home is really cosy. Just give us a heads up if you intend to throw a party or gathering so we will be able to make the necessary arrangements. Also do keep noise to a minimum after 10pm so as to not disturb our fellow neighbours.

Farm Animals

We love all our animals and do our best to ensure a healthy and happy environment for them. Therefore do inform our farm caretaker if you wish to feed our animal friends!

Cleaning Procedures

Whilst we do a thorough professional clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used, put all rubbish in the trash can and put any dirty towels in the hamper. Also, to ensure we keep the floors squeaky clean for our guests’ enjoyment, we have a no shoes policy inside our home.

Safety & Security

As a safety precaution, please be aware there is electrical fence set up to keep the cows at bay. DO NOT TOUCH THE FENCE as it is constantly switched on. Also, please note that we are not responsible for any lost of your belongings. Whilst being one of the safest areas of town, we do advise you not to bring overly valuable items as a precaution.

We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.

Insects, Mosquitos & Bugs

As the farmhouse is situated in the middle of the jungle, it naturally attract insects, mosquitoes and bugs. Please be aware that there will be ants crawling, mosquitoes buzzing and certain bugs lurking around and in the house. To minimize prevention, always have an insect/mosquitoes repellent on hand. Throw your rubbish immediately in the bin and do not leave any litter on the kitchen bench, as this will also attract the ants.
